Where they differ
Health scoring vs. raw numbers
Statbot surfaces counts: messages sent, members joined, voice minutes logged. Useful as a snapshot, but it doesn't tell you whether those numbers are good or bad for a server your size. YellowWorm produces a single 0–100 Community Health Score across growth, retention, engagement, and moderation. It comes with a letter grade and tells you what to fix first.
Member retention tracking
How many members are still active 30 or 90 days after joining? Statbot can't answer that. YellowWorm builds cohort survival curves for every join period, so you can see the exact point in a member's lifecycle where engagement drops off. That's actionable. A member count graph is not.
Proactive intelligence
Statbot is reactive. You run a command, you get a number. YellowWorm is proactive: influence scores flag your highest-value members before they go quiet, activation rate shows what percentage of new joiners never said a word, and dead channel detection identifies channels you're maintaining that nobody uses. The point is to tell you what to do next, not recap what already happened.
